He has gifted the new age Bollywood industry a completely new style of music songs with a fine blend of melody and simplicity. With his background in Indian Classical music and inspirations like R D Burman, Salil Choudhury, Kishore Kumar, A R Rehman, Ricky Martin, Michael Jackson to name a few, his work is a fine amalgamation of a very fresh and out of the box mix of the east and the west. Ankit Tiwari started his musical career in Bollywood at a tender age of 18 with some of the renowned personalities of Bollywood like Pradeep Sarkar, Habib Faisal, Tigmanshu Dhulia & Mohit Suri to name a few. With his unique and mature style of composing he started off with some remarkable projects like AASHIQUI2, EK VILLAIN DO DOONI CHAAR, SAHEB BIWI AUR GANGSTER,which helped him establish himself as one of the biggest names in the Bollywood music industry in today’s date. Undoubtedly “ANKIT TIWARI” is a brand in himself today. Every single bit of this success and fame achieved at his own capability. He not only composes fresh piece of melody with his remarkable talent but also decorates its internal essence by giving them life. He has shown his talent in some big Bollywood projects like DO DOONI CHAAR, SAHEB BIWI aur GANGSTER, Aashiqui2, Samrat & Co., Ek Villain & Singham Returns. This was just the start!!! Bollywood knocked at his door at an early stage of his musical journey while he was pursuing his academics and working on jingles and corporate ads. While working for a musical project in his initial days with his co-composers in B-Town, Mr. Habib Faisal, an Indian Bollywood screenwriter and Director acknowledged his talent and approached him. After the success of Do Dooni Chaar, as a solo Music Director Ankit Tiwari got a chance to work with one of the talented writers & directors of Bollywood Mr. Tigmanshu Dhulia (Of Haasil, Charas & Pan Singh Tomar). He was searching for a music director for his upcoming film Saheb Biwi aur Gangster. According to him, the most complicated situation was still unexplored. The theme song of the film was to be made. Couple of composers tried but the director was not convinced. Then Ankit Tiwari came up with some unique thoughts. And after listening to that they just freaked out. Everybody knows that to compose a song on a given lyrics is quite difficult but Ankit had done a great job with so much of ease. He has also lent his voice to the tunes of Himesh Reshammiya and Ismail Darbar. His back to back releases in 2013 and 2014 includes ‘Sunn Raha hai Na Tu’ from Aashiqui 2 and ‘Galliyaan’ from Ek Villain, which gave a new definition to romantic genre of songs….. The upcomings include with banners like T-series, Vishesh Films, Vidhu Vinod Chopra Films, Balaji Motion Pictures, Dharma Produtions.
